What Guruv Does
Guruv is a dance practice app. It helps you study, loop, slow down, mirror, record, review, and compare practice takes.
Guruv is not a professional coaching, medical, physical therapy, or legal service.
Your Media And Rights
You own and are responsible for the content you import, create, save, export, or share through Guruv. Guruv does not claim ownership of your practice content.
Guruv does not provide music, videos, choreography, performance rights, synchronization rights, master recording rights, or any license to third-party content. You are responsible for having all rights and permissions needed for media you import, process, practice with, record, save, or share.
Local Storage And No Media Uploads
Guruv is designed around local practice. Content stored in the app may be lost if you delete the app, delete content, lose your device, reset your device, or otherwise remove local app data.
Guruv does not upload imported videos, audio, practice recordings, generated stems, thumbnails, notes, or practice timelines to Guruv-operated media servers.
Acceptable Use
You may use Guruv only for lawful personal practice. Do not use Guruv to infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, contract rights, platform terms, or any other rights.
Do not download, rip, scrape, capture, extract, sell, distribute, or publicly share media or stems without the rights to do so. Do not use Guruv to bypass DRM, access controls, paywalls, platform restrictions, paid access, security controls, or other technical protections.
Guruv is not a general-purpose video editor, audio extractor, media conversion tool, downloader, social network, or content hosting service.
Practice Recordings
Record Take and related features let you record yourself practicing. You are responsible for where and how you record, who appears in recordings, whether you have consent to record, and whether saved or shared takes include third-party content you have permission to use.
Subscriptions And In-App Purchases
Guruv may offer paid features, subscriptions, free trials, introductory offers, or one-time purchases. Payments, subscription billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store.
If Guruv offers auto-renewable subscriptions, the subscription automatically renews unless canceled through your Apple Account settings before the end of the current subscription period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If Guruv offers a free trial or introductory offer, the subscription terms, price, duration, renewal period, and trial details will be shown before purchase. After the trial or introductory period ends, the subscription may renew as a paid subscription unless canceled.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple.
Guruv may use App Store transaction or subscription status information to unlock paid features, verify access, restore purchases, support subscription lifecycle events, and help prevent fraud.
Third-Party Services And Components
Guruv may use Apple APIs, StoreKit, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, operating-system services, third-party frameworks, and machine learning models to provide, improve, diagnose, and protect the app.
Third-party software, models, assets, and services may be governed by their own terms, licenses, privacy notices, and disclaimers.
Ownership
Guruv's software, design, branding, text, and original assets belong to Guruv or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Guruv to you.
You retain rights you already have in your own practice recordings and media, subject to any third-party rights in content included in that media.
Safety And Practice Aids
Dance practice involves physical movement and possible risk of injury. Practice safely, use appropriate space, footwear, warm-up, supervision, and judgment, and stop if something feels painful or unsafe.
Guruv's timing, beat detection, metronome, stem separation, audio enhancement, visual tools, and review features are practice aids. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for some tracks, videos, devices, users, or situations.
No Guarantee
Guruv is provided as-is and as available. We work to make it reliable, but it may not always be available, uninterrupted, accurate, secure, or error-free.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guruv will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost media, personal injury, or unauthorized use of your media.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
