Privacy Policy

Scope and your practice content

This Privacy Policy explains how GURUV LLC (“Guruv,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Guruv iOS app and guruv.pro. Your practice videos, audio, takes, sections, notes, generated stems, thumbnails, timing data, and related practice settings are processed and stored locally on your device by the Guruv app. Guruv does not upload this practice content to Guruv-operated media servers.

Depending on your iOS and iCloud settings, Apple may include locally stored app data in device or iCloud backups. Those backups are controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by Guruv. Content you choose to export, share, save, or send through another service is handled under that service’s terms and privacy practices.

Information Guruv may receive

Analytics and diagnostics: Google Firebase Analytics and Google Firebase Crashlytics may process app version, device model or type, operating-system version, app interaction and usage events, crash and diagnostic information, Firebase installation or similar app-instance identifiers, and approximate or general geographic information where provided by the service. Guruv does not receive precise location through these services.
Purchases: limited Apple product, transaction, entitlement, subscription, environment, and status information used to unlock and restore paid access. Guruv does not receive payment card details.
Support: your email, message, screenshots, logs, or attachments when you choose to contact us.

Guruv does not use Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics to upload or analyze your practice videos, audio, or other practice media. Photos, camera, microphone, and media permissions are requested only when needed for a feature you choose.

Website data

When you visit guruv.pro, normal web-hosting infrastructure may process basic request information such as your IP address, browser or device information, request timestamps, and technical logs for site operation, security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

Service providers

Google Firebase provides app analytics and crash diagnostics. Apple provides App Store distribution, purchases, subscriptions, backups when enabled by you, and related platform services. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Guruv does not sell users’ personal information, practice content, or analytics data.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Local practice content remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or it is otherwise removed through normal Guruv or iOS behavior. Local data may be lost if the app or device is deleted, reset, lost, or damaged.

Retention of analytics and diagnostic information is governed in part by the applicable Firebase configuration and Google’s retention practices. Apple retains purchase and subscription information under Apple’s policies. Support information may be retained as needed to respond, protect the service, and comply with law.

Your privacy choices

You can manage Guruv’s iOS permissions in system settings; delete locally stored Guruv content through the app where supported; manage subscriptions through Apple; and contact us with privacy questions.

Children and security

Guruv is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Guruv relies on iOS sandboxing, system permissions, local device security, and limited service access controls; no storage or transmission method is perfectly secure.
